“Those who believe and whose hearts find peace in the remembrance of Allah — indeed, it is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts find peace.”
- Al-Quran, Surah Ar-Ra’d, 13:28
I am Dr. Thahira Iqbal, a retired medical practitioner (born in 1949), now touching 77, in sha Allah. A lifelong student of Islam, I was guided by Allah to seek a deeper and more authentic understanding of my faith. This led me to pursue and complete a postgraduate Alima (MA in Islamic Studies) at the age of 72. My years of social service among underprivileged Muslims inspired me to study Islam more closely and to understand its true essence.
For over forty years, I have studied the Qur’an and authentic Hadith with sincerity and patience, discovering Islam as a complete way of life. My writings reflect these learnings, aiming to make Islam accessible, compassionate, and relevant for today’s world.
Over the years, I have been humbled by the recognition my work has received, including the National Award for Excellence in Imparting Knowledge and Game Changer of the Year 2025. Each award is a reminder that sincere effort in the path of knowledge can truly touch lives.
